Time to Eat Healthy

On Losing Weight: The key to losing weight & optimizing health (example. Biggest Loser) is changing the way you eat, not dieting. Dieting suggests that you do something for a period of time for a desired result. What happens after the diet is over? Well, you gain the weigh back. So remember this, the FOOD you eat is the SOLE reason you have excess weight and/or health problems. Most Americans have bad eating habits. (Thanks Kraft and McDonalds!)

Answer: Change the way you eat by changing the food you eat. Like the Word says, "everything in moderation." We as humans are supposed to eat for its nutrients, not to eat for entertainment (because it tastes good).

Few Things to start doing:

  1. Cut back on the amount of meat you eat. Start by trying to eat meat for one meal a day. Let breakfast be one of the meals where you don't eat meat.
  2. Stay away from pork. The Word of God tells us that, Leviticus 11 ."Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you."
  3. Cut back on dairy. And if you only eat/drink in sparingly, buy it Organic. (Companies Organic Valley, Stonyfield, This Land is Your Land, Natural by Nature.) Why Organic? because if not it contains a harmful growth additive called RBGH, which is given to cows to help them produce milk faster but that it unatural so the cows became sick.
  4. Stay away from all diet/light/lite products. These products contain artifical sweetners:aspartame, splenda, aceulsfame. Ask yourself this question" If sugar, a natural sweetner bothers me, what more would an aritifical sweetner do to me?
  5. Cut back drastically on processed foods. Get in the kitchen and start making your meals from scratch.
